The Duchess Wasn't Invited (Again) . . .

The 90th Anniversary of Vogue Paris Party

Last Friday night (again, Duchess not invited, attributable to recent move (invite surely lost in mail)), le tout Paris celebrated the 90th anniversary of French Vogue at the Hotel Posso di Borgo on the rue de l'Universite.  Crystallizing the height of fashion and decadence, the bal also generated buzz in the good old-fashioned way -- by generating rumors of everyone's favorite fun, marital strife!  Gisele Bundchen (Mrs. Tom Brady) caused an uproar by being photographed tete-a-tete with New York art dealer Helly Nahmad.  According to US Magazine this picture is to cause the public, and Mr. Brady too, "no worries" because Mr. Nahmad has been "friends" with the model for fifteen years.  As she is now 30 years old, any statute of limitations is surely expired.

Gisele and Mr. Nahmad.  In the US Magazine photograph he is shown to be wearing jeans below his jacket and mask.  We all know she'd never go for that.

Also feting the anniversary of Paris Vogue, all with tremendous derring-do, were models Karlie Kloss and Lara "Yummy" Stone, along with royal ingenue Charlotte Casiraghi and Josephine de la Baume (all pictured); Carine Roitfeld; Franca Sozzani; Suzy Menkes; and Jean Paul Gaultier (inter alia).  Anna dello Russo, Vogue Nippon editrix extraordinaire, donned custom Peter Dundas (now at Pucci) with a headpiece by Gareth Pugh over her white wig.  Quite certainly the most blogged about costume since Lady Gaga's MTV Music Awards meaty piece.
