Now that the date is officially set for il matrimonio di Duchess e Senator, and certain other details are squared away (merci, Lady Hayes, for the cake tip!), the Duchess seeks a wedding invitation to perfectly encapsulate, on a tiny sheet of paper, all of the joie de vivre attendant to The Big Day. Options are literally limitless.
It would be nice if we could dispense with the old custom of a printed invite for the wedding, not (only) because they generally constitute a significant expense, but also because, with Paperless Post and all the rest of the online invitation companies finally offering adorable, glamorous, festive, and FREE designs, well, why waste all the paper? Unfortunately the times don't move that quickly for most of us.
Luckily it is possible to procure a wedding invitation, and a very nice one too, on 100% recycled paper. The Duchess is adoring these designs by Orange County's Alethea and Ruth (available at Minted). They are available, for only pennies more per invitation, on FSC-certified, 100% post-consumer waste paper manufactured with wind power. What could be better than that? Receiving one from the Duchess, but of course.
SO cute, right?
